Critical Fit and Free Size Explained

Critical Fit

When choosing garments, “Critical Fit” measurements help to ensure the item will fit properly and comfortably. These measurements vary depending on the individual item but generally include Bust, Waist, and Hips.

Please choose as closely to your usual sizing and refer to the below Size Chart.

Noting that suppliers often have different sizing standards, so always check the product description and take note of any comments or recommendations, such as True To Size or Generous and whether you should Size Up or Size Down.

What is Free Size Clothing?

Free size clothing is untailored by design. It’s all about flexibility, which helps it to be as inclusive as possible, fitting multiple sizes and shapes whilst maintaining a flattering silhouette.

It is specially designed to be adaptable, using either stretch fabrics and elasticized waistlines or loose cuts and plenty of loose-fitting fabric.

For example, a garment labelled as "Free Size fits from a Size "8 to 16" will suit anyone within that range ensuring a complimentary look and pleasurable feel.
